Do you do single night stays? Our minimum stay at Arcadia Glamping is 2 nights. Stay more than 2 nights and receive a £40 discount off each subsequent night that you book.

What time is check in and check out? Check in is from 3pm. Earlier arrivals by arrangement only. Check out is 10am.

What happens on arrival? One of our team will be here to welcome you between the hours of 3pm - 5pm. Please let us know in advance if you are likely to arrive after 5pm and we will ensure everything is in place for you to self check-in using our keylock system (code will be provided in your arrival email.)

Do you allow children? Sorry, the cabin sleeps 2 adults only.

Do you allow pets? Sorry, we do not accommodate pets except for Assistance Dogs. Please call us in advance to discuss your requirements.   

Do you supply bedding & towels? Yes, we supply all the bedding & towels, as well as two fluffy bath robes.

What kitchen & cooking facilities are there? Indoors there is a microwave, a small fridge, portable electric single hob, kettle, toaster, and a compact Air Fryer. Crockery, glassware, cutlery, and cooking equipment are all provided. You will also find a frying pan outside for use on the outdoor fire.  

What essentials will I find in the cabin?  Eco friendly body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, toilet roll, kitchen paper, washing up liquid, bamboo dish cloths, dish towels and cleaning materials are all provided. We also provide tea, coffee, sugar, bin bags, a shopper, herbs, cooking oil, and essential condiments.

Do we need to bring toiletries? Your cabin is supplied with a gorgeous range of eco-friendly bathroom products by Faith in Nature including hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. To protect our natural environment, we ask that you use the eco-friendly products provided. If you prefer to bring your own, please ensure they are environmentally friendly.

Is there an outdoor fire? Yes, both cabins have outdoor fires with a generous supply of firewood provided. Extra firewood is available on request at a cost of £15 per wheelbarrow.

Do you allow candles? We do not allow real flame candles (with the exception of the T lights we provide), fireworks, BBQ’s, disposable BBQ’s or Chinese Lanterns anywhere in or around Arcadia Glamping or Arcadia Sculpture Centre. The cabins are supplied with T lights in glass T light holders for outdoor use, battery operated candles for atmospheric indoor lighting, twinkling fairy lights, and festoon lights.

Are there shops nearby? The village of Drymen has good facilities including a small Spar convenience store, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, butcher, bakery, pharmacy, doctor’s surgery, and gift shops.  

Are there restaurants nearby? There is a good choice of restaurants in the nearby village of Drymen, which is within walking distance or alternatively a short cycle or car journey.

Can friends and family come and visit during our stay? In the interest of other guests and for safety reasons visitors are not allowed in the cabins. 

Is the accommodation close to the car park? The cabin is a short walk down a hill from the car park. We will provide you with a wheelbarrow to assist you in carrying your belongings to your cabin.  Arcadia Glamping cabins are accessed on foot via a sloping footpath so please call us for further details and we can talk through your access requirements if you have mobility issues.

Is there an indoor toilet? Yes, your cabin is equipped with the Rolls Royce of composting toilets by market leader Separett.    

Is there anywhere to charge my phone? Yes, there is a charging point in your cabin as well as two plug sockets.

Is there electricity? Yes, there are two plug points in your cabin. 

Is there Wi-Fi or 4G? In the immediate vicinity of your cabin the signal is 3G for most providers however elsewhere within Arcadia the 4G signal is strong. There is no Wi-Fi in your accommodation, but you will get Wi-Fi signal in and around Arcadia Sculpture Centre. 

Can we visit the Studio? Absolutely! We would love to show you around but please be aware there are times this may not be possible.  Just let us know in advance and we will do our very best to give you a tour.

What footwear/clothing would you suggest we bring? We would suggest you bring walking boots to explore the surrounding countryside, waterproof jackets, flip flops for using around the outside bath area, and trainers or comfortable shoes.
